Million-Strong Gathering of Imam Zaman Devotees Planned on Eve of Mid-Shaaban Eid

IQNA – A gathering of the devotees of Imam Zaman (AS) is slated to be held at the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom, Iran, on the eve of Mid-Shaaban Eid.

The celebratory event, anticipated to draw a million attendees, will occur on Thursday evening, starting at 4 PM, at the Imam Mahdi (AS) Courtyard of the Mosque.

It will feature various programs, including poetry recitation, religious songs, and a Quran recitation program.  

After the Maghrib and Isha prayers, senior preacher Hojat-ol-Islam Masoud Aali will deliver a speech and then there will be eulogy recitations by Seyed Reza Narimani.

Fireworks at midnight will mark the grand finale of the celebration for the birth of Imam Mahdi (AS) at the Jamkaran Mosque.

The Mid-Shaaban Eid, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), falls on the 15th day of the lunar Hijri month of Shaaban (Friday, February 14, this year).

Shia Muslims all over the world celebrate the auspicious occasion.
